Effective July 1, 2009, the Singapore Ministry of Manpower will be issuing a new Long Term Pass (LTP) which will replace the current laminated green cards.
The issuance of the Employment Pass, Personalized Employment Pass, Training Employment Pass, EntrePass, Dependant’s Pass, and Long Term Visit Pass will be conducted online via EPOnline (EPOL). Upon receipt of these passes, foreign nationals 15 years and older will be required to make an appointment to register his/her fingerprint and photo at the new Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) located at The Riverwalk, 20 Upper Circular Road, #04-01/02, Singapore 058416. It will be optional for those between six and 14 years old and those five years old and below will be exempt from the registration process.
The target issuance timeline is four business days from the date of the online filing.
Thereafter, the foreign national will receive his/her new, LTP card to be used in place of the travel document stamp endorsements and the paper-laminated Disembarkation/Embarkation (DE) cards.
