19 April 2017
Pro-Link GLOBAL is proud to have co-hosted its first ever Shanghai Roundtable with VisaCare China at the 悦 6 restaurant on the afternoon of April 14, 2017.
Thirty-four global mobility and global HR leaders attended the event to learn about China’s new work permit system that debuted nationwide on April 1. The new permit is designed to replace the former SAFEA Foreign Expert Permit and the Ministry of Human Resources’ Foreign Work Permits and Employment Licenses. Furthermore, the new nationwide application system will provide the provincial SAFEA Foreign Experts Bureaus with the authority to process applications and issue foreign work authorizations in China.
Daisy Zheng, Immigration Service Team Director with VisaCare China, and Samantha Smith, APAC Regional Manager with Pro-Link GLOBAL, presented to the group. The attendees concluded the roundtable event with an interactive flower arrangement activity that was enjoyed by all.
“This innovative event demonstrates our global command and regional leadership,” shared CEO, Andrea Elliott. “Our employees are strategically located to provide our clients with exceptional service and support for their worldwide office locations and foreign employees. We’re a lot like Shanghai – “ahead of the curve” and inventive. We’re thrilled to be able to provide our clients with this event filled with detailed explanation and guidance for a new countrywide policy.”
