January 13, 2015
This week, the Dutch Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) republished their 2015 Minimum Salary Requirements and fees with slight revisions. Thus, for any application filed on or after January 1, 2015, the following minimum salary thresholds must be met:
• Knowledge Migrants: €4,189 / month
• Knowledge Migrants (younger than 30-years-old): €3,071 / month
• EU Blue Card: €4,908 / month
It is important to note that while expenses may be counted toward the above minimums, they must be guaranteed and structurally paid out on a monthly basis. Holiday allowances cannot be counted toward the income requirement in any circumstances; rather, the amount of holiday allowance, if included in the employment contract or assignment agreement, must be added to the minimum salary requirement.
All application fees have also been increased with 1% as of January 1, 2015. As a result, the new fee for an initial Knowledge Migrant application is now €870, and for a renewal application €384.
