January 18, 2013
From February 9-15, 2013, The Chinese Government will observe the annual Spring Festival celebrating the Lunar New Year. Processing of work and residence permits in China and visa applications processed by Chinese consular posts worldwide may experience a brief delay of a few days during this holiday week. It is anticipated that government offices in China will resume processing applications beginning February 16th.
Applications for travel visas or to commence assignments in China in mid-February should be lodged as soon as possible.
