I was deeply honored on Saturday to serve as hostess and emcee at “Howard County Celebrates New Americans.” The event was co-hosted by FIRN, Howard County Government, US Citizenship & Immigration Services, Daughters of the American Revolution, Howard Community College, and Wegmans. During this Special Naturalization Ceremony, 49 individuals from 29 different countries were sworn in as new US Citizens. Months of planning went in to making this a hugely successful event that celebrated this major milestone for our New American neighbors and their families.
